INDIGENT DEFENSE & MEDIATION

CRIMINAL DEFENSE

Criminal charges can affect you the rest of your life.  If convicted, you could face incarceration, a permanent record, probation, and stiff financial repercussions.  You need a knowledgeable and aggressive defense attorney to protect your rights and privileges.  Ms. Seifert has represented literally thousands of defendants in her time as a public defender in Floyd County.  She now practices as a Public Defender since December 2021 after ending her private law practice to focus on protecting the Constitutional Right to Counsel in Polk County, Georgia. So far, she has successfully tried over 100 jury trials in her career so far including serious crimes such as aggravated assault, child molestation, rape and murder.

Divorce and family matters are some of the most challenging and difficult legal issues individuals face in their lifetimes.

While Ms. Seifert is no longer a private practice attorney and cannot take on clients for representation, she does act as a registered Mediator in the State of Georgia for ALL civil law cases, including family law and domestic matters as well as having the additional registered and approved training to mediate as a neutral any case with domestic violence issues
